OUR REVIEWS

Frequently Asked Questions

How long to frame my picture?

Open tab

We keep a good range of materials in stock, so if you choose a frame that we already have in stock, we can normally make your frame in just 1-2 working days!

If we have to order moulding, or other special materials for framing special objects then it could take between 5-10 working days.

We will always do our best to prioritise work to suit the customer, and try to get the frame done as soon as you require it.

If you have a large quantity order, then of course it will take longer, but we will let you know before carry out a job.

Do you sell ready made frames?

Open tab

Absolutely! We hold a large quantity of our very own ready made picture frames. Unlike other frame shops, we manufacture our own ready made picture frames in-house. These are not mass produced products that you see elsewhere. Our ready made picture frames go beyond the standard shapes and colours.

We are currently in the process of getting them ready to sell on our website. But you can come in-store to view and purchase your ready made picture frame.

I have an old photograph I want restored, do you do this?

Open tab

We scan and restore photographs digitally! Check out Fine Art Reproductions page for more details.

Are your mountboards lignin free?

Open tab

All of our mountboards are acid and lignin free. This means that in years to come, your mountboard is highly resistant to browning or tinging, making them highly conservational for framing.

How do I hang my artwork?

Open tab

We recommend hanging your framed piece eye-level. This is the most natural position to look at a framed picture. The average eye level height is 57" from the floor; specifically the centre of the picture frame is 57" inches from the floor.

Do you have parking, or are you on the high street?

Open tab

We operate in a large commercial business premises with dedicated parking for our customers. This saves the hassle of having to carry your artwork across the high street like most framers.
